The Sonics kommer till stan!
What We Do Is Secret
The Sonics
Sveriges bästa garagerockband, The Nomads, inleder denna klassiska kväll.

Texas Terri, born Terri Laird is a punk rock singer and songwriter originally from Austin, Texas. She has been in the rock 'n' roll business for over two decades.
Terri has been compared to Iggy Pop, Lux Interior, Mick Jagger and Wendy O Williams amongst others by the music press. Like Williams, who coincidentally committed suicide on Terri's birthday, she has developed a reputation for wild, scantily clad stage antics including regular performances where she would rip off her shirt to only be censored by electrical tape reading 'TXT' (her preferred shortening of her name). She has since tired of this and taken to performing in black underwear.
Terri grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and claims to have spent time in front of the mirror practicing to be a rock star from as young as six years old.
Relocating to Hollywood, California in 1984 she formed trash rock band The Killer Crows. After their break-up and a three year break she formed Texas Terri & The Stiff Ones with Don "Demon Boy" Cilurso who became her song writing partner. More successful they released one album in 1998 Eat Shit on the Burning Tree label. Eat Shit has subsequently been re-released twice as Eat Shit +1 and more recently Eat Shit +4, the + number signifying the number of bonus tracks on each re-release. The band achieved a sizable cult status in America and Europe over the course of their six year together.
When Cilurso left the band because of 'personal problems' Terri chose to change the name to 'Texas Terri Bomb!' feeling that the band wasn't the same now her writing partner had left. Under this name she has released the Your Lips...My Ass! album which was produced by remounted rock producer Jack Douglas and featured a guest appearance by Wayne Kramer of the MC5 (though she claims she originally wanted Lemmy Kilminster to appear on the track.

Del två: Wendy James! (Transvision Vamp)
James was adopted soon after birth, and left home at the age of sixteen, moving to the English seaside resort town of Brighton.Whilst there she studied drama and English literature at college. After a year she began singing in a nightclub, where she mainly sang Patti Smith cover songs. There she met Nick Christian Sayer and James and Sayer collaborated on songs (although Sayer was the principal songwriter). Eventually Sayer and James moved to London, where they teamed up with friends Dave Parsons, Tex Axile and Pol Burton. The five formed the pop-punk band, Transvision Vamp and James was the lead singer and focal point of the group, who attracted media attention with her sexually-charged and rebellious image.
The band was signed by MCA in December 1986 and released a cover version of the Holly and the Italians song "Tell That Girl To Shut Up" in late 1987. Months later the follow-up single "I Want Your Love", with its pop/punk crossover appeal, entered the Top 10 in the UK Singles Chart. The band went on to release the hit album Pop Art in October. 1989 was the band's most successful year, with the number 3 hit single "Baby I Don't Care" and hit album Velveteen which entered the UK Albums Chart at No. 1 and was a hit worldwide. Their Top Ten hits were "I Want Your Love" (UK No. 5), "Baby I Don't Care" (UK No. 3).
Solo career
When the decision had been made for Transvision Vamp to split, James wrote to Elvis Costello asking for his guidance. In response Costello wrote a full album's worth of material for her, and these songs became the tracks on her 1993 solo album Now Ain't the Time for Your Tears. It reached #43 in the UK Albums Chart in March 1993.[6] However the album failed to sell in significant numbers, and James retired from the music industry.
Racine
In 2004, she returned to music as the singer, songwriter, and record producer of the band Racine releasing Racine Number One on the Pia-K Recordings label. Racine 2 came out in 2007, with Racine 3 to follow in 2009.

Del ett: The Runaways!
The Runaways var en amerikansk rockgrupp, aktiv i slutet av 1970-talet och känd för låtar som "Cherry Bomb", "Queens of Noise", "Neon Angels (On the Road to Ruin)" och "Born to Be Bad".
Den 21 augusti 1976 gick Runaways första LP The Runaways in på LP-listan i USA.
Diskografi

1977 – Queens of Noise
1977 – Live in Japan
1977 – Waitin' for the Night

Grymma rockbrudar
Regniga dagar
